  • 1.  CA SM Android app integration with sdm 14.1

    Hello Team

     

    We have implemented SDM 14.1 high availability . Now we want to use sdm android application which is available on play store(android). What configurations need to be done on sdm application so that we can use sdm mobile app with it???

    Thanks for link shared

     

    But i cannot see anything to do for integration on sdm application other than Administration, Service Desk, Mobile Attributes. which i already created. i do not think that this is the only thing required for integration.

     

    THe mobile application asking for sdm  url and credentials to logon. 

     

    THe link you shared provides the detailed information of mobile application of its functionality. OR may be if im missing please point me to the correct path.

    You should be able to access the mobile application with the following URL:

    http(s)://<SDM_HostName>:<rest_port>

    Coming to login credentials ,try with the default admin login credentials of SDM.

    Hi La-Qa,

     

    From SDM,  We hope that Rest services are already configured.

    Can confirm same from nx.env file. It should be "@NX_REST_INSTALLED=Yes "

     

    Now on Mobile-> from play store you download the app.

    It will ask for URL and credentials.

    ->URL will be: http://<servername>:portnumber

    ex: http://SDMserver:8050 

    port will be 8050 if your are using default port number.

    ->and credentials: the same you use to login into SDM.

    Ok i got your point. So basically there no any configuration which need to be done on sdm application to use mobile application.

     

    however i have checked rest service which is configured.

     

    Like i i have only sdm installed rightnow. with uss integrated. and uss uses 8686 port. and i believe 8050 port is tomcat shutdown port.

    As you said you have USS configured.Can you use the Unified Self-Service (USS) URL to access the mobile application.

    Once e are logged in the app it should automatically enable the Capabilities like Analyst Queue, Approvals, Requests/Incidents etc., based on your USS role permissions and configuration settings.
