  • 1.  Jasper Studio, 2 datasets in one report

Hi Team, in Jasper Studio I need 2 datasets with different Data Adapters, one pointing to MySql and the other pointing to  the mdb and SQL Server. The tables of the two datasets can be joined. Is it possible to do such a join?

    Thanks a lot!

    Hi Roland,

I did some quick research and found an article that may help on this one.  Take a look at this article on the Jasper website: How to use multiple data sources in Jaspersoft Studio or JasperReports Server | Jaspersoft Community

    Hope this helps a bit.

    Thanks,

    Jon I.

Hi Jon, I tried to do the definition as described in the articles, but get the error message "No suitable driver found for the URL: jdbc.openaccess..." I have no idea, why the driver "com.ddtek.jdbc.openaccess.OpenAccessDriver " cannot be found. Is it related to the fact, that the driver is not a default jasper driver?

    Regards

Solution: in the subreport tab shown in the main report when the subreport is marked a default Data Adapter can be defined, so for each subreport in a main report a different Data Adapter can be defined.
