  • 1.  Why I need an external Tomcat for CDE?

    When installing CDE I discovered that an external Tomcat is required. I was expecting it was just a plug in on top of existing RA.

    And I also saw the need of another DB (mandatory a Mysql), instead of using the same instance used by RA. Is there the possibility to use Oracle?

    Hi Marco

    CDE is separate product than Release Automation , some customers can only use one without the other.

    The latest CDE version support Oracle DB as well
