  • 1.  How To Monitor "Resource Monitor" in Windows Server

    Posted Apr 21, 2017 02:05 AM

Got a requirement from my client to monitor below requirement.

Open “Resource Monitor” , click “Network” tab and select “sqlsrvr.exe” process. Watch the send and receive traffic of each secondary site. If the traffic going beyond 200KBps and stays there for long, then an alert should get generate.

Is there something with Nimsoft we can monitor in this regard and send alerts if the threshold is breached?

I think net_traffic probe can help you with this , but its no longer supported . You can download from Archive and give it a try

    Hi Phani,

Thanks for the lead, but since the probe is no more supported, we cannot go ahead with this. However i have checked probe and not able to perform the monitoring as per the requirement.

Any other leads to achieve the same in Nimsoft.

    Thanks
