  • 1.  Configure High Temperature Alarms for servers or other network devices in Spectrum

    Hi All,

Recently we faced an issue at our site due to abnormally rise in temperature of one of the switches.

To avoid such incidents in future, we want to configure high temperature related alarm for our critical devices and servers in CA Spectrum.

Please help us to do that.

    Thanks in advance.

    Regards,

    Sailee Dale

Can you configure the devices to send traps?  That would be the easiest/least workload on the SS.  You could then map the traps in Mibtools (if not already mapped/supported) and create alarms on them.

Otherwise you’ll need to find out which mib/attribute you can monitor and create watches…

    Cheers

    What Jason said.

If you can't find any MIB OID's to monitor then check out which attributes are available on the device to create a watch.
