I am unable to find out the details about ESM in 9.0,9.1 and 9.2 documentation.

But i need to know how many advantages over there to use this?

on this page look for the section CA API Management Technical Documentation, under which you have 3 esm related documents, kindly have a look at them which should help you.

As i said ESM can be used for migration  and for monitoring purpose but for migration we recommend you to use GMU.
