Greetings!!

May I have you help achieving this customization?

I would like to add a search field in OC Component Details – Interface tab, where the search field can be used to search interfaces based on the IfAlias.

If there is a way to change the default “Search By Name” to use “Search By Ifalias” is also fine.

I have checked with Support if I can change this “Search By Name” to  “Search By Ifalias”, But Support stated that this is hardcoded and cannot be changed as per requirement.

Can anyone provide some suggestions on how this can be achieved?

Support is correct. This cannot be changed by the user.

Good afternoon !

A simple way, I found, is you search the tab "Locater", you can create a Search inside the folder "Ports", create a search with the attribute with X IfAlias (0x13224), this you can do Any kind of filter, I hope this is what you're looking for!

Thanks Robsonbadam. Your solution was achieving close to my solution looking for. Ive used Internal_If_Alias (0x11f82) which fetched the information from the if_Alias fields of interfaces.

is it possible for me to move up the IF_Alias tab in to the Contenets field , so shall be able to look in to all information instead of going one by one..

Attached the out put for the field which i was trying to search for (C/R) means ceased..
