  • 1.  Creating Custom Reports in JasperReports Server 6.2

    I am using JasperReportServer version 6.2 . I am trying to create custom reports. I am facing problem creating the domain for it. It will be helpful if any advice is provided.

    With Jasper 6.2 for CA Service Management, we do not provide a domain out of the box, nor do we support the use of domains currently.  For Service Desk Manager, Jasper connects directly to the SDM object layer (domsrvr) by using the instructions located here: Configure CABI JasperReports® Server r6.2.0 for CA Service Management - CA Service Management - 14.1 - CA Technologies D… 

    For ITAM and Catalog, Japer reports directly against the MDB.

    For creating custom reports, we only support using Jasper Studio, which you need to download from Tibco's website.  Download the trial version and then license it using the license file provided on the jasper install media delivered by CA.
