Hi,
Good day. I want to understand the difference between domain, hub and tunnel. Also let me know how to setup a fault tolerance environment for UIM 8.4
CA UIM Architecture Overview - CA Unified Infrastructure Management - 8.5.1 - CA Technologies Documentation
Hi rkalidh87,
A UIM domain is the group of all hubs controlled by one primary hub. A domain is the highest level structure in UIM. Each domain has a primary hub and can have many secondary hubs. Tunnels are the recommended way for hubs to communicate with each other. You can configure robots to designate a failover hub they will connect to if their primary parent hub goes down. The architecture documentation Luc pointed to is a good place to start.
Best,
Mary
