We have integrated UIM with sdm and can generate ticket manually via uim. How can i automate this so that alarm comeup it ,ticket will automatically open on servicedesk?? Please guide
To automatically get alarms from UIM into SDM, you need to define one or more Auto-Operator profiles in your nas to assign the alarms that you want to go to SDM to the SD user you have configured in the gateway probe that you are using to. For example, the following AO profile will assign any major or critical alarms to the SDUser Nimbus user 10 seconds after the alarm is received by the nas:
Once I have this AO Profile in place and activated, alarms matching this profile will be assigned to the SDUser and placed on the sdgtw probes queue to be sent to CA SDM to create an incident.
