  • 1.  Fields missing or corrupt in Jaspersoft Domains

We have  users who access some very simple domains in ad hoc views. The domains were created to access every column in a single table.

When users attempt to add certain fields to Columns/Rows from these domains in an ad hoc view the pop up error 'An error occurred while performing the previous request' is displayed. Previously users were able to select these same fields successfully.

When I look at the details of the domain these fields are no longer listed as being selected in the Sets and Items list despite being available for the users to select in the ad hoc view. Removing and reinserting the fields in the domain does not cure the problem.

We are not sure when the corruption occurred, it may have been when we recently upgraded to Clarity 15.1 and Jaspersoft 6.2.1_5.2.1.2.6.

Has anyone else experienced similar problems and knows how to resolve the problem without recreating the Domains and views from scratch?

    Hi Nick,

If an attribute is added or removed from PPM you will have these kind of behavior, from Jaspersoft the domains reads DWH as datasource and populate the fields based on columns available in DWH schema.

Also we don't upgrade Jaspersoft yet but we migrate from content from previous jaspersoft instance.

Also if you look into the Jasperserver log you will find out the errors.
