  • 1.  CA TDM Portal - Connection Profile issues

    Hi all. 

    I've just installed CA TDM Portal 4.1, and I've read that I need to create again each of my connection profiles (Oracle) into the Portal. I'm entering exactly the same information I have on Datamaker's profiles but the portal is showing me a generic message: "Failed to create profile"
    I'm not able to find the origin of this error, neither any log into C:\Program Files\CA\CA Test Data Manager Portal folder

    Could you guys help me with some guidence to fix this issue, please? Could it be caused by some wrong configuration?

    Hi Lino, 

     

    I would suggest enable debugging, try to re-create the profile, and check the logs. How to enable debugging instructions are located here: TDM Portal: How to enable debugging for TDM Portal 

     

    The TDM Portal logs are located in C:\ProgramData\CA\CA Test Data Manager Portal\logs. 

     

    Also, if you are still experiencing issues after looking at the debug logs, please open a support case so that we can troubleshoot further.
