    After installing CA APM Java agent on AIX for jboss 7, the application represents arabic charactets as rubbish, removin the agent solves the issue, an idea?

    Hello,

    1. Is this a new Java Agent install?

    2. What version of the Java agent are you using?

    3. The symptoms could be due to injection for Browser Agent or perhaps CEM integration. 

    If Browser Agent is enabled:

    EITHER:

    For 10.5 agent disable the automatic snippet injection property

    introscope.agent.browseragent.autoInjectionEnabled=false

    (Advanced Browser Agent Configuration - CA Application Performance Management - 10.5 - CA Technologies Documentation)

    For earlier 10.x agent disable either the browser agent or the automatic snippet injection property i.e.

    introscope.agent.browseragent.enabled=false

    introscope.agent.browseragent.snippetInsertionEnabled=false

    Advanced Browser Agent Configuration - CA Application Performance Management - 10.3 - CA Technologies Documentation 

    OR: try this suggestion:

    Pages Show Unusual Characters - CA Application Performance Management - 10.5 - CA Technologies Documentation 

    Pages Show Unusual Characters - CA Application Performance Management - 10.3 - CA Technologies Documentation 

     

    4. If that does not help do you have CEM integration enabled (introscope.agent.decorator.enabled=true)?

     

    Ultimately if no solution found this may need to be investigated via a support case.

    Thank you for your replies, i followed you suggestions with no luck, then i changed jboos-full.pbl to typical and everything looks ok now
