  • 1.  WLD DE - Run Job As Other User

    Good day

     

    I am still relatively new to CA Workload Automation DE, having mostly worked on NSM JMO. I am trying to understand if possible to run an Application Job as another user on Linux and Windows, without having specified the user password.

     

    I did this on JMO, because the software was installed as administrator users and it had the ability to switch of the security feature that would ask for the password.

     

    Is the same thing possible on WLD DE? As the company we are implementing workload on will let us run specific application jobs as other users, but does not want to supply the passwords.

    Hi,

     

    As per my knowledge we do not have that option in DE. We can specify the user in the job definition and the password of that user should be given in the agent definition.
