  • 1.  Out of the BOX BO Reports are not working

    Hi We recently upgraded out BO Server to BOXI 3.3 SP2 and having Clarity 14.2 SP11. We are unable to run any of the reports available in CSP folder.

     

    We are getting error like this.when running missing time report or any other report.

    Error in formula no_data: 'IsNull (Count ({Command.resource_id}))' This field name is not known. 

     

    This seems like we are unable to connect the database. WE have checked the following things...

    CABI (32 bit version installed)

    we also have 32 bit data source ODBC on server

    CSA has correct setting

    Create BO Users and Update BO Objects job ran successfully

     

    Any thoughts?

    Hi Shalinee,

     

    Is this only with one particular report or all, to ensure BO reports to work you need to ensure CSP solution pack and PMO accelerator pack to be installed.

    All Out of the Box Reports under CSP folder are not working. Yes, we have

    successfully installed the  CSP solution pack and PMO accelerator pack  in

    our instance.

    Have you granted the Role CA-PPM-Reporting-User and Everyone, please check the below thread to see if it helps

     

    RPT-0014: Unable to retrieve the report information from reporting server 

     

    Also try running the reports from Crystal Report Designer to see if it works

    Here is the case.

     

    I am trying to login as "adminxog" users and it is in both the groups on

    CMC. Please refer the attached screen. Also all the clarity active users

    are in both the groups.

    When we are going in CMC and doing the Database configuration with the

    below setting. Report is running fine however when we are trying to run

    from Clarity it is switching back the "Specify a custom table prefix"

    setting ""

    When we are giving the custom table prefix then reports are not running

    from CMC or Clarity.
