Hi guys.

I have a question related to the site creation on UIM.

I create a site called acme and the friendly url created was http://localhost/group/acme/home# as expected.

Then, after sometime this site was deleted.

Then, last week I was asked to create the same site again. For meu surprise, this time the friendly url created was http://localhost/group/acme1/home# !!

I tried to changed ii, but I got a message saying this is not allowed.

So, the question is: what I need to do in order to use the same url from the past ?

Someone else experiend this kind of issue ?

I just did a quick test and added a test site

deleted the test site

and added a new test site and the could use test for the friendly url as well.

Are you sure you did not just deactivate the site instead of deleting it?

The other thing to do would be to re-index the liferay tables by going to control panel -> server administration -> Reindex all search indexes.

Unfortunately no. I did delete the site.

I´ve just tried again following your suggestion and run a reindex for all search process.

Create the site again, and it insist and create the friendlyurl acme1.

Then I tried to change the name to acme without successes.

Wonder if you know the tables at the database used for this purpose. Did you ?

this is where the site information including URL is stored.
