  • 1.  Maintenance Mode option

    Hi All,

    I am looking for maintenance mode option which will help to suppress alarm  for monitored host which are undergoing planned change. 

     I am using nimsoft hub version : 5.9 and IM version : 4.07, I don't see any option. Can you please help me with steps.

    What is your Current UIM Full release?

     

    There is an old TechDoc about it:

     

    Maintenance Mode Options do not show in USM

    You are running NMS 6.5 which is an old discontinued version so the current maintenance mode methotds won't apply Back in NMS 6.5 maintenance mode was robot based: Nimsoft Probes: : v5.5

    thank you very much for your response. I have gone through above link and found info as "

    Controller version 2.80 or higher supports maintenance mode. Right-clicking one or more Robots in the Infrastructure Manager main window pane, selecting Maintenance, lets you set the selected Robot (s) into maintenance mode for the period specified

    ." 

    When I right click on robot, I don't see maintenance option, Instead it is listing new,restart,remove,Properties.

    click on a hub, then see a robot list on the right, then right click

    Hi Marco,

     

    In NMS 6.5, can we schedule the maintenance mode. means for reoccurring cases
