  • 1.  How to install SystemEdge on Ubuntu?

    Although I know it's not supported, I want to install sysedge on an Ubuntu server, but I'm not able to get rid of the "Unsupported operating system" message. How can I get the installer to avoid checking the OS?

    Hi Eliote,

     

    CA SystemEDGE does not support Ubuntu.

    CA SystemEDGE Platform Support Information - English - CA Technologies 

     

    Install the Net-SNMP agent on your Ubuntu server.

    Hi Eliote,

     

    You may try removing the line that checks the OS from the ca-setup.sh script.
    But please note that it's not officially supported.
