  • 1.  Start nolio agent with no bash shell

    Hi Team

    We are installing nolio agents in customer env. The target applications are running either on AIX or HP-UX. In both the cases we are not able to start the agents post installation as OS does not have bash shell and agent start up script is looking out for bash shell. Have we come across this before and what has been the solution.

    Hello Mayank,

     

    A defect has been submitted for this issue. I've reproduced it internally with version 6.2 and 6.3 of the agent on AIX and verified this workaround:

    comment the vercomp function and change the script on AIX to use /bin/sh then the script will start the agent successfully.
