    Hi,

A client has to monitor Apache Flume v1.6, I know it works with Java but I need to know which PBD should use.

    Hi Carlos,

From what I understand Apache Flume (NG) is a standalone java application?

Getting Started - Apache Flume - Apache Software Foundation

If that is correct and you have not done so already you can implement the default APM Java agent using JAVA_OPTS in a flume-env.sh file to see what you get with OOTB instrumentation:

Other Java Applications - CA Application Performance Management - 10.5 - CA Technologies Documentation

If you encounter problems or need more help please also let us know what agent version and Java version is being used.

    Hope that helps.

    Thanks

    Lynn

    Dear Carlos:

At some point, this may become a discussion about custom instrumentation. But for now it can stay a question. Lynn's response gives a good next step so marking as answered and hopefully the response was helpful. If additional assistance is needed, please respond to this thread.

    Thanks\
