    Hi Team,

We have 2 servers for CA workload Automation AE in DC.We have installed Workload Automation AE and EEM in one server, WCC and Database installed in another server. We need to have Disaster Recovery for this setup. Please suggest how to go ahead where we have servers of same kind in DR. If anyone has implemented, It would be glad if a document is shared.

Full HA mode is a good DR. and Multiwrite for eEM. it is all in the documentation.

Has anyone in your company worked with the products before now> if so i would suggest checking with them..

Hope that helps and good luck.

    Thanks Steve C.

We have tried for Full HA mode with dual event servers, shadow and tie break scheduler as per the document. But there were communication issues between the servers as DC servers and DR servers are in Different geographic locations. Same has been tested by CA support guys. Need some other suggestion to go ahead.

Since we moved into AWS we were able to finally get a good DR strategy.

Our HA systems are in us-west in different availability zones.  Then we set up a set of servers in us-east.  We shut them off (except for the database and multiwrite EEM) so we are only paying for storage on the app servers which is minimal.  The database uses Golden Gate to replicate across the regions.  It takes us just a couple of hours to be up and running in us-east.

    Get thee to the cloud!
