    Hi Ravi,

It should be done by creating a Role with limited tabs and Data Partition, and assigned it to an Access Type or/and a Contact.

You can manage displayed tabs on [Resources] > [Tabs] tab in a Role Detail screen. Please refer to:

    Manage Tabs

    Manage Service Management Roles

    Data Partitions

How to Set Up the Data Partition

    Kind regards,

    Kaori

    Hi Ravi,

In addition to what Koari mentioned, you will also need to go to the Access Type and decide which items to set to View or None on the Functional Access tab as this also controls what a user has access to.

    Kind Regards,

    Brian

We successfully created a View Only Access type for our team.  Just ensure your permissions on the Access Type are setup correctly or the end users will have the ability to open tickets.  It is important to note, if you setup someone with an Access Type of View Only, they will need a Contact Type of Analyst.
