  • 1.  Search not resetting Filters

    I think there is a Defect in Rally search...

     

    I use the magnifying glass to search, for "file group" as an example, which lists Test Cases and Defects. I set WORK ITEM TYPE to "Defect" and OWNER to myself - this works correctly.

     

    I then type in a new search, via the magnifying glass icon, which presents a new list with WORK ITEM TYPE and OWNER still set at the top in the filter but the results/list do not match those values as I also get Test Sets and for other Owners.

    I'm not having much success duplicating this Trevor, you will probably need to open a case with support for further investigation.  It may be something that a re-index of your subscription could help.  Also clearing your browser cache might be helpful as well.

    Strange you are not having success duplicating this when I hit this every time, I have tried Google Chrome and Firefox. I have the history and cookies auto-cleared when I close the browser. Search, set WORK ITEM TYPE and OWNER, then click the magnifying glass icon and perform a different search.

    WORK ITEM TYPE of Defect but listing Test Sets as well

     

    I'll have to find out who can raise a support case... Thanks.
