    Question:

Running Web Agent, I notice that it writes the Web Agent version on the first line of the log files with the Web Server version. How does the Web Agent recognize this ?

    Answer:

While logging the details for the Web Agent, the LLAWP module (LLAWPLogQ.cpp) checks the platform or the component that is using the AgentFramework. Different Web Agent entries are logged depending on whether the Agent is ISAPI, ISAPI60, DOMINO, APACHE or APACHE20. And for SPS the identifier used is -SPS60 and for SharePoint identifier used is "-SPAGENT" (which is set by the JNI layer in SPS).
