CA Service Management

Hi Folks,

      I have configured my email eater with IMAP server which in turn are configured with exchange server. So it is working fine for us. Now we want to configure our email eater directly with ms exchange.

  Is there any way to do the same.

Hi Vikash,

For Maileater Mailboxes, we only allow IMAP or POP configurations.  We do not have an active-sync configuration available currently (which is a MS Exchange direct connection).    You can read about the configurations in this section of the documentation: Define a Mailbox - CA Service Management - 14.1 - CA Technologies Documentation

What is the Exchange version you are running on your side?

As far as I can see IMAP or POP3 services can be enabled on Exchange server.

Enable IMAP4 in Exchange 2013: Exchange 2013 Help 

Enable and configure IMAP4 on an Exchange 2016 server 

Once this is enabled you should then just point the maileater hostname to the exchange server with IMAP set as the server type on the Mailbox and it should theoretically work.
