Hi All,

Please let me know the below queries:

1.) If I am implementing ESM on Gateway, will it not affect the performance of the gateway. If it is really affecting the gateway performance , what we can do in order to overcome it.

2.) If we have a cluster  , so we need to implement ESM on each and every gateway under cluster or just single instance is enough

Good evening,

1) We recommend that you install the ESM on a standalone node if possible to avoid overhead on message processing. If you want to combine it then ensure that you add additional resources and install on a development environment node.

2) The ESM is only needing to be installed once for an entire environment (multiple clusters) as long as the ESM is able to directly communicate to all nodes. If it is not able to then you need to install one ESM per environment to do offline migration and monitoring will only occur against the environment it has access to.
