  • 1.  Query LDAP Assertion caching

    Posted Jun 19, 2017 12:43 PM

    Hi,

My question is related to Query LDAP assertion. Will the query results be cached if the assertion fails? Or is it possible not to cache the results, if it is empty?

    Thanks & regards,

    Anand Rudran

    Hi anand.rudran ,

You can have a saparete cache if the assertion fails. See the following techincal solution which explains how.

    Disabling LDAP query result caching

    Hi Seenu,

The document describes only about emptying the whole cache by changing the cache size.

    Thanks,

    Anand

    Anand,

The cache is create and maintained if no results or results are found, and will be cached for the value outlined in the Cache LDAP attribute values fields. The checkbox for "Fail assertion if ..." will only change the behavior whether the assertion will fail or not but will not affect the caching.
