Clarity

  • 1.  Classical CA PPM logged out when new UI opened

    Hi ,

    I am facing below issue.

     

    scenario : 

    i) Login to classical CA PPM

    ii) Open new UI link in different tab (same browser)

    ii) click on the classical CA PPM tab and navigate to different page.

     

    Note: User has Classic PPM - Navigate access rights

     

    Expected : Navigate to the destination page 

    actual : Login screen appeared.

     

    Has anyone faced this issue ?

    Can you please review these?

    1. Check your CSA settings in the Server Properties > HTTP Entry URL (and/or HTTPS Entry URL). This should be the same as the URL that your organization uses for PPM (e.g.: http://clarity.mycompany.com). If you are using something like http://clarity, consider using the full domain instead (adding the mycompany.com bit). It will be necessary to restart services after this change.
    2. Check the New UI link, it should be something like "http://clarity.mycompany.com/pm", assuming that you used the link in step 1.

    Hi Lala,


    Can you please provide more information like if you system is SSO and cookie and session sharing is allowed in the browser. You can check the same using browser tools

    HI Suman,

    It works fine with SSO. But for Non-SSO it is not working. We are using the organization  URL for offline.

    Can you please elaborate more on the organization URL offline, I did not get that part. What is the error you are getting?

    Hi Suman,

     

    We login in with our classical URL "https://<OrgURL>/niku/nu#action:homeActionId " .

    We have created one link and mapped with our application menu as described on installation guide.

    When we click on the new UI link it new UI opens up on new tab and new UI is working fine ( As expected ).

    But when you navigate to any classical UI page then the classical tab got logged out.

    It looks like session sharing is disabled in the browser. we might need you to log a ticket and need to see in detail.
