Hi,

We are running execute remote reference on ticket creation and or transfer to specific group. This remote reference will get the description value as shown below

Parameters to Command
"@{ref_num}" "@{category.sym}" "@{type.sym}" "@{summary}" "@{description}"

We have faced below message in STD logs and found that character in Description are large.

06/22 01:51:14.01 WWL-DT-SD-01 pdm_d_mgr 2976 ERROR pdm_d_misc.c 821 Buffer overrun reading STDIO. Data lost.

We are not able to get the description value due to this error.

Is there any way to resolve this issue.

What is the Service Desk version and patch level on your side?

We are having 12.6 version of SDM with CUM3. But we are facing same error in SDM 14.1 without any patch.

I suggest you log a case for r14.1 for further investigation as r12.6 is no longer supported.
