Hi,

A user timesheet has been returned(status is been shown as returned in the application) , I found in DB that the Submitted by field is still null.

I wonder how unsubmitted timesheet will be returned.

In application the Modified by is shown as Timesheet Administrator.

Hi Santosh,

You most likely have a process initiated by Timesheet Administrator user, which evaluates the Submitted timesheets and returns the ones which do not correspond to the set criteria. I'd recommend you to verify the processes which run on Timesheets.

After running the Post Timesheet Job, Is there any chance if a approved timesheet  is changed back to "Open" or "Submitted" state.

The Post Timesheets job would only change the Approved timesheets to Posted. If you see the timesheets to get from Approved to Submitted / Open, it's either something that was returned and Submitted again, or a process that runs behind and returns timesheets that do not correspond to some certain criteria. This would be the thing to check - the processes running on Timesheets.
