  • 1.  Sprint Burndown Chart Incorrect

    Posted Jun 22, 2017 01:43 PM

    Hello

We have a team which has several sub teams working under it.  Many of the subteams have members who are shared.

Currently the subteams are tracked based on the feature the team works on and are tagged to differentiate the teams.

We have created a board and added the iteration tracking app and based on filters the data shows correctly. However when we add the sprint burndown chart it shows the chart incorrectly.

     Please help

    Thanks

    Hey kfaizullabhoy,

Difficult to tell what's going on from your description, but some general things to look at:

    • Make sure the stories are assigned to the correct teams (Projects in AC parlance), and the correct iterations
    • When you're viewing the burndown chart, make sure you're at the correct level in your Project hierarchy. If you've at the parent project scope you will see the rollup of all work assigned to the parent project and all child projects. Details here -> Change Project Scoping | CA Agile Central Help
    • Are stories moving between iterations?
    • Make sure you're making the distinction between story points and task hours - as different burndown/burnup charts show you various combinations of those two numbers.

    I'd start with these.
