DX Unified Infrastructure Management

Hi Team,

I had a machine, in that machines i had install a robot. i was monitoring  that machine through UMP.

But now i have changed the IP of that machines. But In UMP, older IP is coming.

It is not reflecting the new IP  of  that device.

After doing rediscovery again it is showing the same.

Can anyone suggest me how can I reflect New IP of device in UMP.

Host name is same for that devices. Itz highly important for us.

Please do the below steps.

1. Stop UIM service in the device.

2. Update the below key in <UIM>/robot/robot.cfg

robotip=XX.XX.XX.XX

3. Start UIM service in the device.

In the device,  we are having only one services i.e. nimbus robot wathcre.

Did you mean , we need to stop that ?

And one more thing, In that devices no UIM folder is there, Only nimsoft folder is their.

Inside nimsoft folder robot/robot.cfg file is their. but in that file only hub Ip is showing.

You are correct.

Stop and start nimbus robot watcher.

Your nimsoft folder is UIM root.

Add the key "robotip=XX.XX.XX.XX" in the file in under "controller" section.
