I want to know which action or command line can be used to run tomcat service in a container?

Can you explain a bit more what you are looking for ? 

Do you mean a action to setup tomcat or are you refering to the RA tomcat service running as a container.

I have a tomcat container which is running and I want to start tomcat service inside that container (i.e. startup.bat or startup.sh). I want to know which particular action I can use to do that. As I don't see any actions present for docker capable of starting that service (startup.bat or startup.sh).

 I am not able to find any function like that, you are looking for action something like exec which can attach to container and execute a specific command.

I don't think we have that! Do you mind raising an idea for same to include this in action pack.

 I am marking this question as answered as we have opened the idea for same as it is currently not available in docker action pack to have EXEC command on docker containers.
