Hello community,

what it means of 'child objects purged' in Archive and Purge history list. In the below picture for call request rule name the total numbers of child object purged is (141124) does it Includes including act_log entries.

If you look at the Archive file generated you would see that it does include act_log entries.

I suppose you know a ticket like the incident, problem, has some activity log. If the ticket record only is purged, the attached those activity log will be orphaned. They should be deleted when the ticket as the parent object is purged. Hence, when the ticket record is purged, those linked activity log also will be deleted. They are child object.
