  • 1.  Allocating Costs to Cost Centers

    I need to allocate total labor costs for a project to one or more cost centers in CA PPM.   However, all of our projects use the same GL account for internal labor.   What is the best way to handle splitting project costs within each project on a percentage basis, such as:

     

       GL         Cost Center      Percentage

    123456            A                     50%

    123456            B                     25%

    123456            C                     25%

    Have you considered setting up Debit Rules at the project level to allow you to allocate the cost to one or more departments by % / time period.
