Does anyone know if it is possible to do a global config search in Spectrum? In HPNA, we had the ability to locate specific text strings that appeared in any of the saves configurations. Specific example is if your looking to find the interface assigned to a specific customer "XYZ Corp". Searching for that string to find all interfaces that might have that as a description.
I understand that you can grep any configs backed up to a ftp/tftp server but we really want the ability in the oneclick window to search all the configs loaded and be presented with the device/s that have that matching search string.
If this is not a current option, Can CA respond with any information on how it can be included as a feature on a future release. Also, I'd like to hear from others if they feel that would be a useful feature.
