  • 1.  My device is showing as pingable even after SNMP is enabled on it with connection string.

    Hi friends.
    This issue i am facing in spectrum 10.1.1 and the device i am trying to discover is Nexus switch 5548.

    Would you mind giving more details? This is a bit short. Are you sure the ACL on the device allows your SpectroSERVER to poll the device?

    As Chris suggested check if Network or the acl's are an  issue here.  Were you able to get through Mib tools ? Worth doing a packet capture as well.

    Also verify through mibtools if you can/cannot contact the device.  If you cannot, then Spectrum won’t be able to model it with an SNMP capable modeltype.
