  • 1.  Support for HP 3Par 7200 Storage

    Hi All,

    In the release  notes we can see: Supported HP 3PAR Versions The probe is certified on the following HP 3PAR versions: HP 3PAR INServ F200 (probe version 1.11 and later) HP 3PAR StoreServ 7400

     

    Has anyone configured the probe for HP 3Par 7200 Storage systems ? or can anyone shed some light on how we can monitor 7200 Storage Systems.

    Hi Herin,

     

    I would recommend you to get in touch with your Account Manager so he/she can get in touch with Product Management and they can confirm whether HP 3Par 7200 is supported.

    Hi Herin, please check the hp_3par probe's release notes for information on supported devices:

     

    Supported HP 3PAR Versions

    The probe is certified on the following HP 3PAR versions:

    • HP 3PAR INServ F200
    • (probe version 1.11 and later) HP 3PAR StoreServ 740

     

    Generally, if a version if not explicitly listed, it is 'not supported'.

    You could submit an idea here on the communities or speak with your account rep to inquire about future support.

    Hi Philip,

    Just a heads up we were able to configure the HP3PAR 7200 storage system using the HP3PAR Probe. 

     

    We had enable CIM server in the storage system and it worked.
