When application team creates package with CICS program, and package is deployed in Production, is it possible to include Newcopy into the process automatically.If so what is the way to achieve it.

Hi:

We have implemented a CPSM Phase-In step in our CICS processors to accomplish this.  A Phase-In is basically the same as a NEWCOPY.  The program is written in COBOL.  There are examples of how to do this in the IBM CICS Reference manuals relating to CPSM.  Basically, you need to know what CICS Plex you want to go against and the program name.  CPSM will then Phase-In the program in all CICS regions that contain the program you tell it.  You c an get the program name from you LINKCARDs.
