Hi folks

I am in the process of installing the first device certification pack. A couple of questions come to mind.

I assume that self certified devices will get over written if there is now CA support in the kit for the device.

What about custom events? are my custom definitions kept in place? I assume so. However, if CA support has their own equivalent, can I delete or disable mine and have theirs automatically take over? or do I need to take other actions?

Traps and events configured in the $SPECROOT/custom/Events directory take precedence over traps and events configured in the $SPECROOT/SS/CsVendor directory. 

If you remove a trap or event configuration in the $SPECROOT/custom/Events directory so the configuration for that trap or event in the $SPECROOT/SS/CsVendor directory will be used, you must update the event configuration after removing the trap or event configuration in the $SPECROOT/custom/Events directory.
