  • 1.  Not able to launch Identity Governance by shortcut or as administrator

    Hi,

    Working with CA Identity and we are getting the following error message when trying to run launch the jboss (ca-gm-run.bat) through a administrator dos command line, or even through the shortcut in windows.

    Using the dos as a regular user it works fine:

     

    GM_JAVA_OPTS: -Dwicket.configuration=deployment -Dworkpoint.classpath.url="../Workpoint/ -Dorg.jboss.as.logging.per-deployment=false -Djboss.node.name=ca-gm-node-1

    Checking that all requeired ports are free

    Error: could not find or load main class com.ca.rcm.utils.FreePortTester

    1 required ports are blocked.

    Use "netstat -anob" to discover which process block the ports.

     

    Any idea on what could be the problem here ?

    Hello, 

     

    Have you run the  "netstat -anob" command? This error is indicating that another process on the server is blocking a port that is necessary for the startup. Do you have any other products running on the same server that may be using the port?

    Hi,

    Tks for the update.

    We can start the application when running from a DOS session without

    administrator rights.

    it seems more like a permission issue.
