  • 1.  UMP Dashboard randomly seeing invisible alarm

    Hi,

    We have a dashboard on UMP displaying 'visible' alarms for IT Ops to action on, but once in awhile we have 'invisible' alarm being show on the dashboard. Anyone having same problem?

    Hello.

    Please describe exact UIM / UMP versions but sounds the symptom would need to be looked at CA Support since there might be several drivers.

    Hello!

     

    Please check your pre-processing Rules, AO Profiles and If you have different TimeZones between the UMP/NAS/Robot with the related probe!

    It is not all alarm from a specific host get show when it suppose to be invisible. It is 1 out of 10 (may be) alarm from the same host/robot, same probe, same profile that randomly appear on dashboard.

     

    Anyway, our UIM, UMP, hub, host are all at same time zone, located at the same data center.

    I would recommend you to open a CA Support Ticket for further analysis and do a remote access to check this behavior.
