  • 1.  TC - Fail and Slow Transaction Count

    Posted Aug 01, 2017 04:45 AM

    Hi All,

I have an SOA oriented application environment.

When user does a transaction, at the entry app, it shows only 1 request. Suppose, it crossed ART alert and a Problem is created.   Then the Slow transaction is NOT 1. It can be greater than 1..like  4 or 6 etc.

This entry app triggers multiple requests to backend applications. Does the 'Slow transaction count' reflect the internal requests which got slow? And what is the threshold for those to be categorized as slow? is it 2 secs?

Similarly, I think , fail transactions are actually number of errors triggered and not the count of main request which actually faced this error.

    Could someone clarify this ?

    Dear APM Team.

Are there other administrators that can provide an explanation of what is happening here for Geethu? Thanks in advance.

    Hi Geethu:

This appears to be something that might be best handled by a Support Case. Please consider a report case and report back the resolution to help other customers having this same issue.

You are welcome to ask follow-up questions as needed

    Thanks
