    Issue:

When I'm doing an AdminUI upgrade from 12.52SP1CR00 to 12.52SP01CR07, the

installer doesn't ask to do an upgrade, and it proceeds to do a fresh

    install directly.

Why do I get this behavior if I already have an AdminUI installed ?

    Environment:

AdminUI 12.52SP1CR00 on Red Hat Enterprise Linux Server release 6
    Cause:
You have this behavior because the installer does not see entries for

AdminUI prerequistes nor AdminUI in file :

    /var/.com.zerog.registry.xml

    Resolution:

You have to re-install the original version for both AdminUI prerequistes and AdminUI, following the documentation.

After the install, verify that both AdminUI prerequistes and AdminUI have entries in /var/.com.zerog.registry.xml

Then, upgrade the AdminUI prerequistes and AdminUI.

You might need to re-register the adminui with the Policy Server
