  • 1.  CA7 scheduling question

    Team,

     

      we are facing issue on few  CA7 jobs. These are interval jobs that runs every minute/10 mins/15 mins ..... so on.

     

    1. On 27th July'17, one of the instance of the job were stuck in CA-7 and with "UNKNOWN" completion status in JHS. Both the jobs were flagged in active late queue after few hours.

    2. On 31th July'17, another the instance of the job  had the same issue. Job got stuck @21:59 CT on CA-7 and ended on the system with "UNKNOWN" completion status.
        And flagged in CA-7 active late queue @01:49 CT on 1st August'17.

    3. On 2nd August'17, we  had the same issue also

    Need to know the reason what had happened and caused the issue. Kindly check from your end and share the details.

    CA 7 is using smf records to track the jobs. This job starts and just seems to sit there and do nothing. The reason CA 7 is leaving job in the ACTIVE queue is because there is no smf type 05 job termination record. There doesn't seem to be any step termination records either.
