  • 1.  Can i configured the 'Watch' feature in Agile Central.   I only want to get notified when new Features are added or removed from an EPIC (program or portfolio)

    if anyone has any knowledge or experience with how to configure or filter 'Watch' notifications it would be very helpful.   Currently i'm getting too many notifications that are not of value to me.

    Hi James,  unfortunately Watches do not allow conditional statements - you basically watch a work item for any change.  At this point Notifications do not include Features as a type.  We've had requests to expand the functionality of Watches and Notifications on our Ideas site.

    Thanks Edwin - can you send me the existing enhancement requests to add this basic and very valuable functionality.   I'd like to up-vote any existing enhancement requests.

    In my opinion, watch feature is designed to get all notifications. You can avoid watching story (Like I do !) and use notification rule to get a specific notification that you want.

    Hi Subhendu - i agree that notification rules would be the better option - however i have yet found a way to configure a rule that can notify me when a Feature gets added or removed from a particular Epic or Portfolio.  This would be extremely useful to myself and many other key stakeholders.
