    Hi all,

I want to implement LDAP CA ServiceDeskManagement, without EEM.

After I defined all in Options Manager and restart the service I made a test with pdm_ldap_test.exe with following result (here an example with only one user):

                      pdm_ldap_test.exe  seems to work !

In the next step I wanted to update an user. I selected an user in SDM and  used the LDAPupdt-Button to change an attribute. An empty list from LDAP/AD appears but 1 entry was found.

    I found in stdlog errors:

    08/22 09:51:21.55 tngahd6        domsrvr              6436 SEVERE_ERROR bpobject.c            5125 Attempt to cast type NIL BPData to ValueVALNX

    What means here index out-of-bounds.

Is the „\“ at the end of arg10 (the lastname) ok?

    Can anybody help??

    Best regards

    Hi Horst,

Please be aware that the LDAP options you installed are for contact import\synchronization from an LDAP store. Just wanted to get that out the way first. There is NO EEM involved with this at all.

    Now back to your query...

What exactly are you trying to achieve, considering you wrote 'I want to implement LDAP CA ServiceDeskManagement, without EEM". So to me this implies you are referring to authenticating users in LDAP without using EEM. If this is what you meant, then simply use OS authentication as the authentication method on the Access Type\Role.

Perhaps you can elaborate further on your requirement?

    Hi Brian,

I mean this function only for update/sync.

I have expressed myself badly. Excuse me.

    Hi Horst,

    Thanks for providing clarity.

Looking at the screen print, I seem to recall a similar thread being discussed here in the communities. Have a look at the below post and see if it helps?
