  • 1.  Restore Custom Dashboards??

    Posted Sep 04, 2017 11:25 AM

    Hi All,

We have a situation where our one Custom dashboard is deleted and we want to restore it.

How can we do it, as we have tried full VM restore of the web server but we were not successful.

Is there is any other way through which we can have our dashboard back on our UMP portal, as this dashboard is used by users globally.

    Regards

Assuming you have accidentally deleted a dashboard from the "Dashboard Portlet", the dashboard saved in this portlet are stored in the database in the table  'umpDashboard' (and umpDashboard* tables)

Do you have a backup of the Database? with the help of a DBA you can try to restore these tables

    Hello.

For future - you can use export / import feature to save / restore dashboard definitions.

Sorry I did not describe details.

export / import is a feature available in dashboard portlet.

The data is portable and useful in moving definition from DEV to PROD and vise versa.
