    Hi,

I have been going through the forum for all the relevant question. I have seen your expertise level and currently you assist with all the #Autosys query, so thought of asking you the same. The above mentioned are the root level task my #scheduling team have given me to fetch the information and explain it after which they will conduct a formal training.
In that context, if you can assist me it will be helpful.

    Regards,
    Ranjan

    Hi Rangan

Regarding the different questions you asked I suggest you to open some cases with CA support to assist you

on responding to the different topics you listed, we will be glad to help

I can give you some helpful information about your request:

    - Exit Codes in terms of SAP and for windows environment.

See WAAE Implementation guide documentation for different Exit codes

    - Different commands in command line interface.

When you install CA Workload Automation AE, ensure that you install the Command Sponsor component. The Command Sponsor lets you execute CA Workload Automation AE commands (such as autorep, chk_auto_up, autoping, and so on) on the CA Workload Automation AE server using the CA WCC user interface  (and use ECLI)

    - Definition of JIL and JIL Sub-commands.

See the WAAE User Guide chapter 2

The jil Command and JIL (Job Information Language)

    JIL Subcommands ................

    - Alarm and different status of alarms.

See WAA Ereferences guide Chapter Alarms

    - Architecture of the latest edition of Autosys r11.3.***

See WAAE Implementation guide for detail

I hope these response suits your need

    Thanks and best regards,

    Ranjan,

Thank you for the vote of confidence..and clarification :-)

NOT all exit codes are created equal. Yes CA has a set of them that are pertinent. But i can make any job exit with that same error code.

It is important to read the run detail or the spool/agent log to discern the full nature of the exit codes.

The reference guide will help you most of all..

    the main jil commands:

    insert_job:

    update_job:

    delete_box

    delete_job

    insert_machine

    update_machine

    delete_machine

    are the key JIL commands.

sub commands are actually referred or used to be referred to as attributes. There were 30 now 100s to ask you to know them all is ludicrous.

Learn where they are in the book and understand the meaning behind them :-)

    key commands for troubleshooting

    autorep

    autoping

    chk_auto_up

    chase

there are more.. but look these up.

    Good Luck.
