This depends on usage and temporary cache needs to be cleared manually if it grows more than expected size.
Perform the following:
1. Login to CABI server
2. Stop Server Intelligence Agent (SIA).
3. Navigate to the Data directory :SAP BusinessObjects Enterprise XI 4.0\Data.
4. Clear the content of Data directory.
5. Start SIA.
6. Go to CMC--> Servers--> properties of Web Intelligence Processing Server.
7. Set the "Recycle Timeout" to 500 seconds.
8. Restart the server.
9. Go to CMC--> Applications--> properties of Platform Search Application.
10. Select "Only Index metadata" option.
